These lyrics have been running through my head a lot lately. The song is on my "Canciones del año 24" mix which will be complete in July. I think about it whenever I realize that I'm trying to talk to someone who doesn't have anything to say (anything to teach me). I want to talk to people who engage my thoughts and beliefs; I have no time for people who are not adding to my knowledge or understanding. So these lyrics, to me, echo the song "Psychokiller" by the Talking Heads, especially their line, "You start a conversation--you can't even finish it. You're talking a lot, but you're not saying anything. When I have nothing to say, my lips are sealed. Say something once, why say it again?" Those are my sentiments in a nutshell.
